Members of the SCGA Junior Caddie Circle are annual and monthly donors who have a passion for golf and want to give back to the game in a way that impacts their community and creates new opportunities for youth.

SCGA Junior Caddie Circle Events

Hall of Fame Reception: An intimate dinner at Lakeside GC with major donors and guest speakers. Past speakers include Dave Stockton, Corey Pavin, Craig Stadler, Al Geiberger, Amy Alcott and Charlie Sifford.

SGCA Junior Dinners: These dinners and cocktail parties are hosted 2-3 times each year and feature guest speakers such as Rocco Mediate, Jerry West and Jim McLean.

Golf Network Outings: These outings are held at private clubs and are a great chance to network with major donors, board members, volunteers and staff. Past venues include Sherwood CC, Hillcrest CC and Valencia CC.

Annual Golf Tournament: Sports Legends are invited to participate in this SCGA Junior event. The evening of the tournament, players are invited to a “fireside chat” with these special guests, which have included Mark O’Meara, Tom Watson and Ken Venturi.

Who can join a caddie circle?

Anyone who donates to SCGA Junior is automatically placed in the corresponding caddie circle and notified via mail of their circle status.

How is my caddie circle level determined?

Membership in each circle is determined by the total amount donated to SCGA Junior in the past 365 days by each donor.

Why should I donate to join a caddie circle?

All caddie circle members gain exclusive access to SCGA Junior events, news and receive special perks throughout the year!

What does my donation do for junior golfers? 

$5 – a round of golf for a kid

$27 – uniform (hat and shirt)

$70 – set of clubs

$150 – fund a golf match for a day (30 kids)

$400 – Fund a field trip

$1100 – Fund a snag set for beginners to learn golf

$3,750 – Fund Titleist PI junior golf instructor for an 8 week session (160 golf lessons!)

$20,000 – Fund a coach for the year to be a role model for all 250 new kids!
