Meet Bairon Gomez

Coach Bairon Gomez was born and raised in Los Angeles, where he attended John C. Freemont High School.   While in high school he found his passion for golf, competing for 2 years on the school team.  In the future, Bairon hopes to be a civil engineer for the county of Los Angeles to help better his community.

Bairon has been working at Maggie Hathaway Golf Course for about a year, and recently became a coach with SCGA Junior. He was attracted to the game of golf because of the values that it teaches like self-responsibility and accountability.    When asked what the best part about coaching is, he said, “Just getting a smile and knowing that he helped a kid have a better day is the best feeling.”
